We have a resident who had 2 black toes. I coded 2 stasis ulcers-stage
IV. Then it was 3 toes, 4 toes, etc. Now it is the foot from mid
metatarsal down. Would it now be one stage IV stasis ulcer. How should
this be coded? We are applying dressings and medication. Any input
would be appreciated.
