Page 1-12 of the Provider Instructios for Making Automated Corrections Using the MDS Correction Request Form dated October 2002 states 'Whe a record is modified, the facility should not change the original completion dates(MDS items R2b, Vb2, Vb4) of the record, unless the facilty can demonstrate that these dates themselves are inerror. These dates are inteded to document the RAI process and are not intended to be updated to the time of a subsequent correction."

I have look in the manual and the website and cannot find the info I need. When a correction request is done do you leave the R2b date the same or do you change it to reflect the date you corrected the assessment?
