Hello Everyone,
I have a resident that was admitted with a surgical wound. She
did receive therapy services. Howerver, she was since discontinued. I
have been skilling her in nursing for the wound. My question is, she
continues to receive BID dressing changes. However, her wounds are
improving and now measuring: 0.5cmx0.5cmx0.1cm and on admission they
measured 3.0cmx0.5cm. The other 2 wounds are considered a venous stasis
ulcer and is now measuring 0.2x0.2 and 0.2x0.2 and they were 0.3x0.2
(both were). Would you still consider her medicare A?
