I have a long term resident who uses O2 daily.
She was sent to hospital for short term, received IVs etc and was returned
skilled medicare A. Can we still bill Med A if she was receiving O2 prior to
hospitalization. Was there a break in spell of illness if she was using O2? She
has been skilled in the past, on original admit.
