Subject: NG to decompress stomach, ? code for suctioning???

Can you code an NG tube that is used to suction stomach contents to decompress the stomach under suctioning in section P???  If not, could you capture it anywhere else on the MDS.   The manual does not mention NG tubes in this manner????

Thanks in advance for responses.

Heidi
