I agree,I don't think the facility would be respon for cataract surgery.The only new
thing would be the eyedrops under the PPS rate.The doctor would bill under part B and
the surgery would be excluded.Call your FI if you have questions.I would think a
patient still having rehab for gait training would be better served to have cataract
surgery while in the snf.We have had recent rehab patients go out for iredectomy,and
lap cholecystectomy.
