In VA in the past we had to have A DNR redone every year, in the past few years the DNR was changed to a Durable DNR & only has to be completed once. The wording is different as to cover all health care personnel, not just EMS.

I don't know about dnr, but I don't think it has to be updated, ours are not.  There is no regulation about any medicare meetings.

I have 2 questions- first, is there a reg that you have to have a weekly medicare meeting to discuss your medicare A patients?  Or if you do it in morning stand up is it sufficient to cover it.

Second,  Is there a law or reg that a DNR has to be updated yearly?  Thanks in advance for your help.
