Best of luck to you.... I remember my first survey, and I have learned a lot over the ensuing years. The best advice I can offer is answer their questions honestly and to the point, but don't elaborate too much. If they express "a concern" take care of it right away, and share with them what you did. Also, remember that not all surveyors are "out to get you." However, the surveys that I've been through where the Feds were present are pretty stressful (on both the SNF & the State). I'll say an extra prayer for you all.

Ok Guys,

Lots of prayers for the next 3 days.  State team walked in this AM with 1 fed with them.  I have never been through a state survey, I am new to MDS.  I am a wreck.  Any advice?  I am in Florida, Pinellas county.

Butterflies, Butterflies, go away!!!
