Hi. Can I ask for everyone's interpretation of section G3 - Test for
Balance? The Manual's instructions do not address how the patient gets to
the standing position - whether or not they need help to stand so you can
test their balance. I know it says not to attempt the test if someone
cannot stand by themselves, so do you interpret that to mean "cannot even
stand up by themselves" or "stand by themselves once they're up"? It just
describes the test and how to do it but never addresses how this person
stood up. How do you incorporate this into your answer and coding?
