But your question is MEDICARE MDS.  If the work comp company uses Medicare A criteria to determine eligibility and prove skilled care, yes.  We do Medicare assessments for insurance and HMOs, case managed residents all the time.  This doesn't mean that you will bill Medicare.  The MDS will indicate that the payer source is NOT Medicare as well.

But not PPS assessments for Medicare.
