I would say not as it specified "IV's, IV medications, and blood transfusions provided during chemotherapy are not coded under the respective items K5a (parenteral/IV), P1ac (IV medications) and P1ak (transfusions).  That was one of the clarifications.

Can anyone offer any advise on whether Chemotherapy given IV can also be counted as IV meds?  Did not totally understand if the manual meant that you can't check the IV meds as well as the chemo....
