Can anyone explain why the nursing and therapy components are different
urban vs rural in the Federal Register/Vol. 68, No. 188/Monday, September
29, 2003/ Rules and Regulations.
Urban Table 3 pg 55884
Rural Table 4 pg 55886
The rates are adjusted with a wage index that should modify the numbers
(nursing and therapy components) by different areas in the country; however
the original numbers are different urban vs rural prior to factoring in the
wage index.
What am I missing here???
