The section you are referring to was on page 3-212 of
the 12/02 revision.  It stated "Completing a portion
of the MDS is not the same as transcribing the
information.  For example , if an RN enters the
therapy time from the therapy log to the MDS, the
therapist is still responsible for the attesting to
the accuracy for the data.  The therapist must date
and sign the therapy section of the MDS."  This was
removed from the manual in the 8/03 revisions.
