Title: RE: CPR
We just started doing this this year. We had a situation where another facility's van was on their way to the casino with a group of resident's. One of their resident's had a stroke on the van, so they pulled into our facility and our nurses called 911. It got us thinking about it, we could have had an identical situation with one of our outings since our activity staff were not required to be CPR certified.

Off the topicI am curious how many facilities out there require your recreation staff to be CPR certified, in the event someone should code on an outtrip (assuming they are full codes) vs. notifiying on admission that the 1st response on an outtrip will be 911 and not CPR?

Thank you in advance for your input.
