Robin Technologies is a web development company. We
are under contract with AANAC to develop and maintain their website. We
also host and moderate this listserve. We do not promote any of
our products or services on this listserve.
It is AANAC's policy to not allow endorsements or
criticisms of software vendors on this listserve. There are over a
hundred different software vendors in Long Term Care not including
consultants. If AANAC were to allow an open forum for promoting
software and/or services, this listserve would be inundated with sales
pitches. We don't fault the vendors for being proud of their
software but we also understand how many vendors there are and how it would
distract from the purpose of this listserve. A little rain would be
nice but nobody wants a flood.
There are two ways subscribers can share and receive
information. First, if anyone is searching for software and/or services,
please post a message asking for information. Post your email address
and ask individuals to contact you privately. Second, if anyone has
information they would like to share, please post your email address where
interested parties can contact you directly. AANAC encourages this
community to share information. This listserve just isn't the right place to
discuss commercial interests.
I hope this clears up any concerns. Please contact me
privately if anyone would like to discuss this further. With roughly 700
people subscribed to this listserve, we're bound to have different
opinions. It's important though that we remember what this listserve is
for.

well, I certainly would like to hear about the software folks are
using. I'm glad to have the email directly and I'm a little as a loss as
to why posting these comments and ideas is problematic since it's exactly the
kind of information that would be most useful in helping us to make our jobs
both more efficient and easier. Is Robinteck as software
company?
