[CM] range and period-length

to create scales up and down in correlation with the period-length,

i 've written:

(new range

:initially 57

:stepping (pyx (pyx 1 :for (pyx 11 7 9 8 8 9 8 11 7 12))(pyx -1 :for (pyx 9 8 6 9 11 7 9 8 8)))

:for (pyx 11 9 7 8 9 6 8 9 8 11 9 7 8 9 11 8 7 8 12))

this is a bit long-winded because i've to repeat the scale-ambitus for the ':for'-key as the period-length.

is there a more elegant way?
