yes, you can use sbcl. i think the osx version is pretty stable now:

on openmcl: byers is actively working on intel porting and i believe
there is a test image for 64bit intel at <ftp://clozure.com/pub/
testing> im not sure if/when a 32bit intel will happen.
i plan to make a new stable release of cm in a few days, ill try to
save osx app for both intel and ppc.
is is not yet possible to work with cm on the new macs?
