(mus-sound-frames "myAmbisonic.amb") is the input file duration in samples. The "origin" argument is a kind of comment -- it is used by the edit history stuff to give a name to the edit and so on. I think you can always ignore it, so (apply-ladspa (list...) (mus-sound-frames ...)) might work.
