i guess something in cffi has changed:

you could try to install a version that is from around the time of the
rts release.
sigh. i guess the fact that you can double-click a grace/cm3 app with
a solid built in realtime scheduler wont help. regardless, i will
have a much better chance of fixing/improving/maintinaing things there
then i ever will in all the common-lisp spagetti systems.
