> ar: -ljack: No such file or directory I think this is a bug in the sndlib makefile. The documentation says ar ignores -l args, but now it seems to complain about them. You can get the thing to build libsndlib.a by deleting the -l args to the ar command. I'll fix the makefile -- thanks for the bug report!
