That's hard to believe. We are going to have a hike in our Medicare premiums next year if the bill gets passed. It seems they give us a cost of living increase and then take it back on our Medicare. We should all write the President and explain to him about the high cost of Gleevec. I don't believe a lot of people understand this high cost. I told my primary care Doc about the price of Gleevec and he acted like he didn't believe me. I wrote to him when the bill came up about companies being able to drop their retirees.
