Hi Geri,

I only had 2 gscf injections and that was almost 4 years ago when I first started Gleevec.  I don't remember feeling any different from these shots--neither better or worse.  But I do remember that one shot seemed to last for a couple months--my counts recovered quickly and were still up 6-8 weeks after the shot (which was Neupogen not Neulasta).  My dose was 300 mcg.  Gina is the person on this list who had the most dramatic recovery using gcsf (she was down to an anc of zero at one point before she started).  Maybe she can tell you how she felt on gcsf.

Best wishes,
Dorothy

I am trying to get some feedback from anyone who has tried Neupogen for low
WBC's.
Mine are, as I've said before, chronically low.  Lately, my ANC has been
hanging below 1000, WBC around 1.5.  I am fatigued, so today I asked my Onc
if there was some thing I could do and she suggested we try Nuepogen and see
if raising my WBC will give my energy a lift.

Has this strategy helped anyone else?  What dose of Neupogen were you on?
How frequent did you get it?
