I was not insinuating that your pain, nor anyone else's pain, is not due to the Gleevec. It is just that any ache, pain, rash or anything else that is not the norm to each of our bodies is binging blamed on Gleevec. This is exactly what the article on cancer patients not getting better medical care and diagnosis of other problems was referring too. We have to remember that our bodies are going thru changes even though we have CML. Bodies age, and there are other problems that go along with that process. Some of the problems are pain, muscle soreness, etc. These things must be investigated, not just thrown to Gleevec, or other meds that we or anyone else takes. Do not let small problems become larger ones because it is easier to put the blame on a drug that has only been around for 5 - 6 years. Yes, many of our problems may be related to
Gleevec, but NOT ALL.
