Hi Everybody, regarding Dr. K. and my ANC, he may have stated this to me because when I first started taking Gleevec, my ANC got very low in a hurry. I had to be in "quarantine" over the Christmas holidays so I have a penchant for panic when it starts down. I had to be off Gleevec for several weeks 3 times to get my counts back up enough to re-start Gleevec. Since I'm now taking the Neulasta shots, my counts don't drop like they did and my platelets are holding around 80. I sure don't want to give out any mis-information and make anybody nervous or anything like that. My last BMA at MDACC 2 weeks ago showed that I'm in CCR but my quantitative real-time PCR is at 7.3236 so I'm still in the "turtle" state. By the way, I'm only on 350mg.'s of Gleevec.
