Okay, need some help here. Diagnosed on Oct 8, 2004, with a white blood count of 178,000, yep that is right cause they checked it 3 times, spleen 5 X normal size. Was put into hospital immediately and put on Hydroxea for 7 days. Started Gleevec when I stopped the Hydroxea. Doctor said I have a double Philly, hell I don't even like Philly, and am blasting at 5%! Today I go and my white count is 23,000 and my spline has reduced size greatly! Doctor still wants me to persue transplant because of fibrosous they found in bone marrow! Can someone tell me what the hell all this means??? Please! Regards, Len
