Right you are.. I checked the prescribing information and saw
hypokalemia in the list of side effects. Thanks for the info.
For what it's worth, I developed a nasty eye tick after starting
Gleevec that lasted for months. I read the posts on this forum about
people suffering from muscle cramps and figured that I would take
calcium supplements and also eat a banana a day. The eye twitch went
away immediately. I knew there had to be something about Gleevec
(I'm not taking Lasix) depleting salts but I hadn't seen anything in
the literature about it until now.
