Hi Nancy, Wobenzym N is a compound of enzimes. Supposidly it was discovered by a German scientist looking for a cure for his daughter's leukemia. When I take it on an empty stomach it does seem to help my inflamation, and it beats Celebrex, or Vioxx. (which I was on too).
