Hi Mary My husband, Richard, never reached CCR, but even 10 pills per day did not help him as he has a P loop mutation. He has been off Glivec (UK spelling)since October 2004, and is on Hydrea and is awaiting the BMS Phase II trial commencing in London, hopefully in February/March. Definitely not going to have interferon either. Good luck for Joe and hope one of the new drugs will work for him. Best wishes Annette
