Hi everyone. I hope you all had a good and happy new year. I was sick for the last two weeks with ear infection and sinus infection. Sounds same what Joan had. I wonder if this is water/fluid retention related. But thanks God I feel better now and gain my energy back after I finish my course of antibiotic(Amoxilin). I will try here to make up for e-mails received from you all.I am heading to Tampa tomorrow. I have my appointment with Dr. List at Moffit Center on January 5 and hopefully he will do my BMB Test as it is due. I am looking forward to meet with a true specialist and the head of the oncology department who know more about CML.I will let you know how did it go.
Lisa if you are going to be in Tampa on January 5 , perhaps we can get together. I would like to meet with you in person and thank you for your help.I am staying at Best Western on 30th street next to USF campus.
It was sad to hear the news of loosing two of CML's patient Marque and Sandra.
Cynthia, I hope Eric's BMB did go well.
My prayer with Marie on her chemo therapy and wish her a soon recovery.
I am welcoming Jeff to the group. Yes your symptoms are familiar. I had the same feeling at the beginning of my treatment and it get better by time with Gleevec. Gleevec is a miracle drug for CML with less side effect. Have you experience any pain on the left side of your stomach?
I wish you all the best in 2005 and that whatever path your treatment takes that you all lives a long, productive and healthy life.
