Hi Lisa and all,
Yes, I never had to take the interferon; my Dr said there was bad news and good news when I was dx. the bad news was cml and the good news was Gleevec.
I went through some tough times while the Gleevec was working but am doing good now.
Glad you came through it all ok.

And the quality of life was no where near what I have with Gleevec. Thank
God.
Although, I promise I am not being uncompassionate about those who do have a
much tougher time with Gleevec and I do know how fortunate I am to tolerate
it so well.
