I"ve just discovered that there is a posting of the phase II bms354825 trial listed on clinicaltrials.gov. They are not recruiting yet, but all of the locations worldwide are listed and also the criteria used for enrollment.
My dad is currently in the phase I trial in UCLA and has to fly out to CA monthly to meet with the doctors. We are hoping he can get into the phase II trial in Rochester, MN. He has other health problems that make it tough to fly that far every month. We are keeping our fingers crossed that they will let him into the Rochester location. Unlike most of the people on the study drug, my dad has had some side effects. He's had some pretty severe edema, even worse than what he had on Gleevec. He's also had some bad stomach cramps and dry eyes. He is in his 70's and has been through several chemo's and has other health problems, that might explain why he has more side effects from the drug than others in the studiy. The bottom line is that the drug has worked very well for him. --- nanny_net2000 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi Lisa > Chronic phase cml'ers qualify too if they have a > mutation.
