Hi Nancy - My history on Gleevec is almost identical to Tracey. On Gleevec 400 mg for 3 years, reached CCR in 5 months and PCRU after 9 mos. My side effects have generally gotten better with time. Among those for whom Gleevec has caused a Complete Cytogenic Response (zero club), the relapse rate has been a steady 2% per year. The fact that this rate has not increased even a little over the years has pleasantly surprised the doctors.
