My family and I noticed too that my daughter Simone always looks pale, so i took her to her pediatrician and he put her on iron. This has not improved, she's still very pale, but your stories have given me something to take back to him when she goes in for her next appt. Thanks all.

Gleevec inhibits c-kit which plays a role in melanin production,
which is what gives us our skin colour.
Many of us who are caucasian have become pasty white, ghostly white
almost albino like. It can be dramatic and probably puts us at a
greater risk for developing skin cancer (since we don't have the
protection from the sun we once had) but as usual, I say it's a
small price to pay for being alive.
