Hi MJ,
When I've had dental w3ork that involved abscesses
post CML, I've taken Moxicillin for a week before the procedure. But it
sounds like you're already on a penicillin regimen so I guess that will take
care of it.
Just had a tooth pulled myself no abscess bu
t it's no fun listening too that snp! crackle! pop! You shouldn't feel any
pain though.
Best luck. It does seem that at a certain age
these "little" things keep popping up. I guess you're wondering if it's
related to CML and I certainly don't know. Maybe someone else can hazard
an opinion.

It seems like I have a 'crisis' every month--hemorrhaging
toes and so on. Now I have an abscessed tooth. The dentist is
sending me to a dentist/physician to pull it. The abscess is in an area
which had had a root canal. I'm now on penicillin to get the swelling
down, and so on. Should I be doing anything else? MJ
