thank you so much for this, barbara. my mom came down with pneumonia right after christmas. if either she or i had read this article perhaps she would've gotten to the doctor before it had turned so serious. she was experiencing a crackling noise when she breathed and somehow her idiot doctors thought nothing of it. if we'd read this maybe she could have been saved a week in the hospital with double pneumonia which was very very serious. posting this could potentially prevent anyone else having to go through the rigorous treatments at the hospital and continued oxygen use that she's dealing with. thank you so much. best wishes to all, sarah
