My daughter was going through terrible moods swings, so i set her up with a counsellor...she is doing as well as can be expected (still has her moments) and is learning methods to cope with her anger. My husband has a chronic illness also, and from counselling sessions, learned that along with chronic you get depression and with depression come mood swings. Hope this helps a bit.
