Hi all,
The record holder (in my Zero Club) for the longest time at CCR on Gleevec is Ellen Froyd at 5 years and 8 months. WOW!!!
Thank you Ellen for the Hope and the Inspiration.
Ellen started Gleevec in January 1999 at UCLA as part of the Phase I trial with Dr. Sawyers . She hit the magic Zero six months later.
I spoke with Ellen this afternoon to make sure that she was still at Zero ... and she is. She was at the Yosemite Lodge skiing with her husband.
