Hi all, I just heard from my doc at Sloan Kettering, Stepen Nimer, who has a patient with something that resembles CML, but with a TEL-ABL fusion instead of the BCR-ABL fusion - so it's classified as an MPD (myeloproliferative disorder) rather than CML. Knowing that I'm active on this listserv (he's very interested to hear how it works, each time I see him), Dr. Nimer has asked me to inquire whether I know of any other patients with this rare variant. If any of you do have it or know anyone who does, would you be so kind as to contact me? Doing so off-list would be just fine.
