A couple years ago I signed up for Cox Cable Internet.  My previous carrier had done a lousy job for me.  Cox now has started free spam filtering, popup blocker, and virus protection.  I have not had a virus since they started this.  I also keep my Norton up to date regularly, but actually it seems that Cox keeps things clean for me.  I have also noticed that I get many e-mails that are completely blank--and I attribute this to Cox.  They probably were virus-loaded and their virus protection has completely done away with them.
