I've been using Firefox for about two months now and LOVE it. Users
might think about adding on some features called "Extensions", these
are available by simply clicking on tools, then extensions and then
"Get more extensions." The beauty of these is that you can pick and
choose based on your needs, install what you want and uninstall what
you don't want. This keeps the "footprint" smaller and helps your pc
run faster. Firefox has built-in pop-up protection and blocking for
sites that try to install software that you don't ask for. It's a lot
of fun and I'm still discovering new tricks and treats. Thunderbird is the best e-mail client I've ever used... been doing this professionally for over ten years. It too has add-ons and extra bells and whistles if you want them. Richard T. A new browser called Firefox is now available that is supposed to be less vulnerable. Some people like it better than IE (or Netscape - unfortunately, most Web sites aren't optimized for Netscape, which means in Netscape they often don't display properly). Firefox can be downloaded from www.mozilla.com. And thanks for reminding me that I need to run my spybot and ad aware programs tonight! jennifer g. _______________________________________I downloaded Firefox a few weeks ago because of spam and viruses and it has worked marvelously well. I do not use IE anymore. Firefox also has a nice tabbing feature that allows you to view several different pages at once.Kristin L. ------------------------ Yahoo!
