Hi Tracey, Thanks for the information. I should
to clarify my statement. You are correct Advil is filtered through the
kidneys, however, it decreases liver functions so it may exacerbate problems
individuals are having with Gleevec and liver functions (like me). I was told
to stay away from Ibuprofen (advil) and Naproxen (Aleve) for acute pain relief
and NSAID maintenance, unless supervised by a physician to relieve inflammation
from gouty arthritis. I was told to avoid the use of ibuprofen for
acute pain relief and NSAID maintenance, if there is any possibility of renal insufficiency
