Hello everyone,
Something strange is happening to me. I went to the urologist for my check up and he ordered an xray to make sure I had no new stones. I got a call from his nurse that the xray was "bad" and they had me set up for a cat scan with and without contrast. I finally spoke to the doctor late yesterday. He said they were worried because the xray showed tiny spots on my kidneys and they wanted to rule out cancer. He used a technical term for this which I blanket out on. So they did the cat scan and discovered that my kidneys are ok, need a follow up scan next year, but my spleen is greatly enlarged. Now I had never been told I had an enlarged spleen in the 5+ years since cml dx. In fact, usually they tell me that they can't feel my spleen. I hope this has nothing to do with cml. They are sending the reports to my hemo/onc and I know he will share it with me. I am going to call him next week. Judy L ------------------------ Yahoo!
