Hello Cheryl,

Sorry that I'm late in responding to your question.

I'm am a vegetarian and have been for 3 decades so I was familar
with tofu. Tofu is surrounded by other soy products on the grocery
shelves so it was easy to select dairy substitutes. It's over a year
now without diarrhea being a problem. The only time that I have had
a problem other than what I mentioned previously was when I had the
flu last week. I have wondered if eliminating my diarrhea issue
helped the Gleevec to bring me to cytogenic remission last May. This
would be difficult to determine as I was upped to 800 mg in Dec of
2003 and that alone may have created the remission in May of 2004.
Anyway, it was nice to get rid of it.
