Rob,
I apologise for the use of 'kosher' and any
implication that I attacked you personally. It was not my intention. I honestly
didn't understand how you could still post to the Yahoo List. Now that I look
back, I see that you are using a different email account.
Again, let me state, I am not
complaining about medical articles, photos or quotations being posted. Since you
have moved the site to a new location with many more features and
facilities than the Yahoo list, I was asking if there is a feature
that would filter the messages in the 3 categories that I have mentioned from
the normal email to my address and place them in a folder on the site where I
can look at them at my leisure. I was and am asking for a feature. I am not
complaining about the content.
It was my guess that these 3 categories of
messages were being generated by you personally and that you had control over
sending them and storing them on the site. No one else has come forward to say
that they were generating these messages.
I certainly understand that Dane sends his
personal Pic of the Day and I appreciate them. The images that
you send as Pic of the Day appears to come from some outside subscription
service.

Response To Zavie
Saying that someting is not "kosher" certainly sounds like a personal
attack to me especially in light of the fact that you already knew the answers
to the questions you posted to the group. Since the word kosher means
"authentic" or "legitimate" that came across as an attack on
me.
As for your complaints about medical articles, photos, and types
of posts to the list those have been a part of the group for a long time
and no one has ever complained that I can recall.
There are limits on how much can be done and it is not possible
to satisfy everyone in the group.

Rob,
I don't see where I turned this into a personal attack on you.
I've reviewed all my emails and I don't see where there was any personal
attack by me on you.
Please point out the message and the statement where I attacked you personally and I will be the first one
to apologise.
It was and still is my intention not
to attack you or anyone personally on this list.
My sole purpose in this exercise was
provide comments so that we would have a better and smoother running web
site for the CML community.
Zavie
I am disappointed that you have decided to turn this into a
personal attack on me. While you already know the answers
to the "questions" you raised I will explain the situation
further for the group. When both my Yahoo ID
and multiple email addresses were banned from Yahoo I had
to create a new email address and subscribed to the CML Yahoo
group from that address. I am no longer a moderator or owner of the CML
Yahoo group.
As I indicated to you in an email on February 9th there is an
additional moderator in the CML group which is why the group and archives
have not already been completely deleted. I have underlined the text in
red for you below. Some of my political and business groups and
archives were deleted and years worth of contacts and work were eliminated
because there was no backup name on those groups. The only reason the
CML group still exists is because I added an additional name to
the larger groups some years ago. I have not revealed the identify of the
other moderator name because the person or person(s) who had me
banned will then go after that name as well. Because the other
moderator name has very limited moderator controls it is not possible to
continue the group on Yahoo which is why it is closing and
moving.

You are also aware of the group rules:
"Personal differences between members have no place in this group.
Those who start and participate in personal attacks will be removed
from the group as will those who are found to be actively encourage others
to stop posting to the group, or to leave the group, or who recruit
members to join other groups or sites, or who are otherise found to be
actively involved in the disparagement of the group, the group moderators,
and the group owners. It is in the best interest of this group that only
those who have a serious and legitimate interest and concern for CML
patients be members of this group. It is not appropriate to use the
group for other purposes and to further personal agendas, prejudices, and
attacks against others."
