Dear Katie and Patty,
I wish you both courage and strength as you continue to deal with your new
diagnoses. I was diagnosed with cml in Dec of 03 and have been in
remission since June of 03. I have been able to continue working as
always, despite a few ups and downs with anemia, nausea and diarrhea. The
Gleevec, however, has been a huge blessing, all things considered. It is
important to have a physician whom you trust and respect.
I am glad you both have found your ways to this group. It has been a
huge help and encouragement for me.
