I have gone around and around about whether or not to
post...obviously, I have decided to do so. I have mostly been a
lurker on this board. The few times that I have posted, I have
received support and caring. I haven't kept up with the board that
much lately, as my husband is Day 86 Post BMT, so I am not entirely
sure exactly what is going on here. Let me just say, SHAME ON YOU
ALL.

This board is a place for support. It doesn't matter one bit
whether or not someone who posts here has CML or whether they have a
loved one with CML. It doesn't matter one bit if someone who posts
here has decided to treat with Gleevec, a clinical trial, a combo of
drugs, or with a BMT. And it sure doesn't matter one bit what
someone who posts here feels about politics, the state of the world,
religion, etc... All that matters is that everyone who posts here
is affected in some personal way by this terrible disease. Everyone
who posts here is here for support and answers to questions, and
research. Everyone here is battling CML in one way or another, you
shouldn't be battling each other. We should all have nothing but
kind words to offer one another. We should all respect the fact
that everyone here is battling CML, and it doesn't matter how, it
just matters that they win. SHAME ON YOU ALL for letting this board
deteriorate into a he said/she said place with nasty comments flying
back and forth. What in the world do you think new people must
think of this board?

To each and every one of you on this board, I offer support and
prayers. I pray for you all to win your battles with CML. I don't
care how you choose to fight it, I just care that you fight it. I
don't care if you are the specific person with CML or not, I send
all of you mental hugs each day...those of you with CML and those of
you with loved ones who have CML. I pray for you all to have
strength and peace as you battle this disease. I pray for you all
to be cured.

I will continue to follow the board, although I will probably not
post again. May God be with each and every one of you. I wish you
all the best. Enjoy your lives, your families, your friends. Enjoy
each and every day that is a gift of life. Make this board the
place of loving, caring support that it was meant to be.

Karly, wife to CML survivor James, mommy to Sam
