Carl, Like many things in life their group is not quite like it is so widely advertised. I was never allowed to post even once so I have been unable to even defend myself against their smears. With their group so heavily censored there is no way for anyone else to speak out either. I was disappointed that only a handful of people even cared enough about the truth to ask questions. They hand picked those they wanted to join and left my groups with the other 95% of CML patients who are not part of their chat cliche. The Yahoo and Google groups and the 2 web sites remain open for those who still have an interest and perhaps more will start to post without fear of reprisal since those who have caused the problems are now gone. How you could you be banned from a list which has no "owner" according to the person who started the list? Sounds fishy to me. Rob <[email protected]> wrote: I agree with that Giora. A lot of work was put into the Yahoo and Google groups that CMLHope.Com operates along with the news blog and web site. It makes no sense to me for people to throw all of that away and join a group of people who refused to abide by the rules and caused such a massive disruption and who are against the posting of medical and news articles which are literally essential for the survival for many CML patients who may have to seek other treatment options. I joined their new group and quickly found myself banned from posting because they did not feel I even had a right to defend myself against the smears that some in that group are sending out privately. The kind of tactics they have used speak for themselves and have no place in a CML support group. An end has been put to the fighting in the Yahoo and Goog! le groups. If people want to join a group that invovles those who started the fighting that is their choice but I don't see where they will benefit from it myself.
