Dane,
I am so glad that things are going well physically for you. My
husband is Day 92 Post Transplant today. We came to Seattle for his
transplant, and we are far, far from home (a very long plane ride).
We got here in November and are getting ready to go home this coming
Tuesday. I can relate to how hard it can be to be away from home
and normal life. There was a time that my husband felt like the
days were passing very slowly, and in the last month or so, he says
time has flown by. Just remember that the days will pass...some
slower, some faster, but they will pass.
We came out here with our son, who is now seven months old, so I
cannot imagine how hard it must be to have your kids back at home.
I am so glad your daughter is visiting soon, I know it will lift
your spirits. Loved the picture of you and your son on your
website...I know you enjoyed spending time with him as well. Before
you know it, you will be back home with them.
I will keep checking your website to see how you are doing in your
transplant journey. Each day is bringing you closer to being home
and closer to being well again. You and your family will be in our
thoughts and prayers. If you would like to read about James'
transplant experience, our caring bridge site is

I hope tomorrow finds you in a sunnier mood.
