Dear Pat,
I live in North Mississippi. Our little town is
about halfway between Memphis and Jackson,
Mississippi. Carrollton is a tiny town in Carroll
County. It is one of the two county seats Vaiden
being the other. Spring is really here for us. We
have many flowering shrubs and trees in bloom
and of course the springs bulbs.
I find our location quite convenient. We are
close to several nice shopping areas and I can
drive to my doctor in Jackson easily.
Yes we still use the term y'all as in "y'all come
back now." I'm sure "outsiders" still find that most
amusing but we don't care do we?
Where do you live in Tennessee? We think in
terms of Memphis belonging also to Mississippi.
So many travel there to shop and for cultural events.
You haven't lived if you haven't visited the Peabody
lobby and seen the ducks enter or exit.
Tennessee is such a long state. We have traveled
there some in the past. I went to Greenville many years
ago to locate the grave of an ancestor. We found it!
Let me hear from you, we might not live so far apart!
