Didn't think that over 1,300 MG/day
of Tylenol was good for you if you took Gleevec.
Bob, MJ, I do believe Dr. Mauro told me not to exceed 1600mgs. per day of anything that ends in "cet."  The Tyelonol family is very large, and I was taking one of those nasty cousins, Ultracet, at the onset of my bone pain.  I think, that no matter what, I should try and protect my kidney/liver function at all costs by not taking these. When I got on Oxycontin, even though it is highly addictive, I have heard it said it is probably the most safe pain medicine out there on the market because it does not adversely effect these organs.
I don't know the pain levels you and MJ are talking about, because I just awakened and this was the first email I spied.
I hope that your kidney does not hurt, Bob? - Lynne A.
